Please join me on the first day of my new job as barista at . OK, so it’s not really my new job, and I’m only going to be a guest barista for a couple of hours, but join me all the same.
Janice Chua, owner of the newly opened coffee and dessert bar, invited me to be her first guest barista. In doing so, if you come visit us on Wed., Aug. 31 between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. and buy something, she’ll donate a portion of the proceeds to a charity of my choice. I’ve chosen so you’ll probably want to come visit to say hello to Jacqueline de Guzman of WVCS, too.
I’ll have some Patch schwag on hand and maybe some other goodies, too. In the meantime, please mark your calendars and tell your 100 best friends because we want a crowd!
