'I Found What I Love To Do Early In Life,' Steve Jobs Says

This 2005 Steve Jobs commencement speech at Stanford is a good reminder of the man behind the product, company and image that is Apple.

Apple, the house that Jobs built, often overshadows the core of the man. The uber-valuable company and the coveted products—iPad, iPhone, iPod—inspired by Steve Jobs may screen the simplicity that the man behind them is just that—a man.

But listen to this June 12, 2005, commencement speech delivered by Jobs, and wallow in his words. He truly is inspirational, and if you ever doubted that Jobs has the ability to lead, watch and listen to this YouTube video of his speech.

He touches on being a college dropout, yet he’s a proponent of higher education. And we’re reminded of his family’s humble beginnings when his college education costs drained his parents' bank accounts.

He talks about loving what you do and loving whom you’re with—something that sometimes takes more luck than intellect.

Then he talks about death, and how life can be stripped away at any time. You can’t help but take it to heart.

Watch. Listen. And be inspired.

Jobs is done but left his mark on every corner of wireless technology. It only leaves us asking who won the war between the two titans of modern computer technology?
