Firefighters put out a three-alarm fire in Cupertino Thursday afternoon, a Santa Clara County fire dispatcher said.
The fire, which affected two homes on North Stelling Road near Greenleaf Drive, was reported at 3:33 p.m., the dispatcher said.
"Cupertino commuters will want to avoid Stelling between Homestead and Stevens Creek—the fire department is working on containing a residential fire. Stelling is closed to through traffic," wrote Jeanne Bradford on Cupertino Patch's Facebook page.
