4 Homeless Freeze to Death in Santa Clara County

Autopsies revealed that the people died from hypothermia.

Four homeless people have died in Santa Clara County due to exposure to cold weather conditions, the county medical examiner's office announced Friday.
           
Based on results of autopsies, the people succumbed from hypothermia, according to the medical examiner's office.
           
The names, ages and genders of the individuals are not yet being released.

Earlier this week, the county opened three warming shelters in advance of the cold weather.
