CHP Assures Public It's Prepared for Boson-Like Threat
The law enforcement agency is closely following the deadly attack at the Boston Marathon that occurred Monday.
The CHP released a statement Tuesday morning regarding the tragic explosions at the Boston Marathon Monday that killed three and left hundreds injured.
"Our sympathies are with the victims, their families, and the many first responders on scene," CHP said in a statement. "We are closely monitoring the investigation in Boston and are sharing this information with our personnel."

Should any similar threat occur in California, the CHP said, it has "an effective process for handling any threats when discovered" and is committed to working with the federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of all Californians.
"We urge the public to report to law enforcement anything that appears out of the ordinary,” it added.
