Cupertino Sheriff's Blotter, July 6-9: Kidnapping, Domestic Violence

The following arrest information was obtained from the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office. It does not indicate a conviction.

Petty Theft

  • A 27-year-old Cupertino woman was arrested at 12:30 p.m. July 6 on Dolores Avenue in Cupertino for misdemeanor petty theft of personal property and two infractions for driving with privileges suspended or revoked and disobeying sign. Bail set at $5,000.

Under the Influence

  • A 30-year-old Santa Barbara man was arrested at 10 p.m. July 6 at Stevens Creek Boulevard and Bandley Drive in Cupertino for misdemeanor being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or controlled substance. Bail set at $250.
  • A 75-year-old Cupertino man was arrested at 1:48 p.m. July 9 on Bandey Drive in Cupertino for misdemeanor being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or controlled substance. Bail set at $3,250.

DUI

  • A 44-year-old San Jose woman was arrested at 10:30 p.m. July 6 at Stevens Creek Boulevard and Imperial Avenue in Cupertino for misdemeanor DUI. Bail set at $5,000.

Kidnapping/Domestic Violence

  • A 21-year-old Cupertino man was arrested at 7 a.m. July 7 on Parkwood Drive in Cupertino for misdemeanor false imprisonment, felony kidnapping and inflicting corporal injury on spouse. Bail set at $50,000.

Resisting Arrest

  • An 18-year-old Cupertino man was arrested at 12:01 a.m. July 8 on Miller Avenue in Cupertino for misdemeanor resisting arrest. Bail set at $1,000.

Vehicle Code Violations

  • A 24-year-old San Jose man was arrested at 2:30 p.m. July 8 at Wolfe Road and Highway 280 in Cupertino for an infraction related to driving without due caution and two misdemeanors for driving while license is suspended and for violating driving restriction.
  • A 33-year-old San Jose man was arrested at 1:30 p.m. June 21 at De Anza and Stevens Creek boulevards in Cupertino for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked and an infraction for using wireless telephone device while driving.
Conspiracy to Commit Crime/Burglary

  • A 32-year-old Campbell woman was arrested at 1:30 p.m. July 9 on Stevens Creek Boulevard in Cupertino for felony conspiracy to commit crime and felony first-degree burglary. Bail set at $10,000.
  • A 21-year-old Los Gatos woman was arrested at 1:30 p.m. July 9 on Stevens Creek Boulevard in Cupertino for felony conspiracy to commit crime and felony first-degree burglary. Bail set at $10,000.
  • A 22-year-old Los Gatos woman was arrested at 1:30 p.m. July 9 on Stevens Creek Boulevard in Cupertino for felony conspiracy to commit crime and felony first-degree burglary. Bail set at $10,000.
