Cupertino Sheriff's Blotter, June 29-July 5: Child Endangerment, Assault With Deadly Weapon

Petty Theft/Under the Influence

  • A 33-year-old San Jose man was arrested at 7:30 p.m. June 29 on Wolfe Road in Cupertino for misdemeanor petty theft and using/being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail set at $6,000.

Vehicle Code Violations

  • A 21-year-old San Jose man was arrested at 9:34 a.m. May 7 on Vallco Parkway and Wolfe Road in Cupertino for three infractions related to having an expired registration, failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility of vehicle, inappropriate display of license plates and misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
  • A 26-year-old Los Banos man was arrested at 7:42 p.m. July 3 at Torre Avenue and Stevens Creek Boulevard in Cupertino for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked and felony alteration/falsification of car registration. Bail set at $11,000.
  • A 33-year-old San Jose man was arrested at 11:14 a.m. July 3 at Bollinger Road and Blaney Avenue in Cupertino for two infractions related to driving with privileges suspended or revoked and using wireless telephone device while driving.
  • A 30-year-old San Jose man was arrested at 10:31 p.m. June 21 at Homestead Road and New Brunswick Avenue in Cupertino for an infraction for failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility of vehicle and misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked and a suspended license.

Child Endangerment

  • A 35-year-old Visalia man was arrested at 11:15 a.m. June 30 at Wolfe and Homestead roads in Cupertino for misdemeanor child endangerment involving unjust pain and suffering, violation of child seat restraint, unlawful registration with intent to deceive, driving with privileges suspended or revoked, probation violation, disobeying court order process and infractions for failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility of vehicle and not wearing safety belts. Bail set at $57,000.

Possession

  • A 52-year-old San Jose woman was arrested at 4:30 a.m. July 1 on Bollinger Road in Cupertino for misdemeanor being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of controlled substance without a prescription. Bail set at $500.
  • A 21-year-old Campbell woman was arrested at 11:53 p.m. June 22 at Linda Vista Drive and Columbus Avenue in Cupertino for an infraction related to marijuana possession.

Petty Theft

  • A 46-year-old San Jose woman was arrested at 4:16 a.m. June 29 on No. Wolfe Road in Cupertino for misdemeanor petty theft of personal property.
  • A 57-year-old Los Gatos woman was arrested June 28 on No. Wolfe Road in Cupertino for misdemeanor petty theft of personal property.
  • A 54-year-old San Jose woman was arrested at 3:10 p.m. June 26 on No. Wolfe Road in Cupertino for misdemeanor petty theft of personal property.
  • A 54-year-old San Jose woman was arrested at 3:10 p.m. June 26 on No. Wolfe Road in Cupertino for misdemeanor petty theft of personal property.

DUI

  • A 43-year-old Watsonville man was arrested at 12:58 a.m. July 3 at De Anza Boulevard and Wild Flower Way in Cupertino for DUI. Bail set at $10,000.
  • A 52-year-old Hanford, CA man was arrested at 5:10 p.m. July 3 on Gardena Drive in Cupertino for DUI. Bail set at $20,000.
  • A 26-year-old Sunnyvale man was arrested at 8:48 p.m. July 3 on No. Wolfe Road in Cupertino for DUI. Bail set at $5,000.
  • A 25-year-old Campbell man was arrested at 8:40 p.m. June 25 at Vicksburg Court and Miller Avenue in Cupertino for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked and an infraction for not wearing seat belt.
  • A 34-year-old San Jose man was arrested at 6:17 a.m. June 12 at Bubb Road and Pumpkin Drive in Cupertino for an infraction related to inadequate stop requirements and misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
Battery

  • A 59-year-old homeless Cupertino man was arrested at 5:20 p.m. July 3 at Stevens Creek and De Anza boulevards in Cupertino for misdemeanor battery on specified person.
  • A 40-year-old Cupertino woman was arrested at 12:50 a.m. July 5 on Colby Avenue in Cupertino for misdemeanor battery on former spouse, fiance or cohabitant. Bail set at $10,000.

Assault

  • A 21-year-old Cupertino man was arrested at 2:40 a.m. July 5 at McClellan and Bubb roads in Cupertino for felony assault with deadly weapon. Bail set at $25,000.
