Cupertino Sheriff's Blotter, May 26-27: Furnishing Tobacco to Minor, DUI

Petty Theft

  • Jennifer Rodriguez, 42, of Sunnyvale, 9:10 p.m. May 24, at Homestead and Wolfe roads in Cupertino, for misdemeanor petty theft. Bail set at $7,000.
Furnishing Tobacco to Minor

  • Ali Hamidi, 48, of Sunnyvale, 4:30 p.m. April 22, at 19550 Stevens Creek Blvd. in Cupertino, for misdemeanor furnishing tobacco, smoking paraphernalia to person under the age of 18 years.

Vehicle Code Violations

  • Shayla Anderson, 32, of San Jose, 11:55 a.m. May 17, at Stearn Avenue and Stevens Creek Boulevard, for an infraction for failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility of vehicle and misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
  • Eric Roch, 31, of Cupertino, 9:20 a.m. May 26, at 19608 Pruneridge Ave. in Cupertino, for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked and an infraction for not wearing seat belt. Bail set at $5,000.

DUI

  • Eloy Casas, 30, of San Jose, 11:04 p.m. May 25, at Bollinger Road and Tantau Avenue in Cupertino, for misdemeanor DUI. Bail set at $5,000.
  • Vincent Change, 30, of Cupertino, 3 a.m. May 26, at Barnhart Avenue in Cupertino, for misdemeanor DUI. Bail set at $5,000.
  • Mehrod Amirkiai, 26, of Santa Clara, 3 a.m. May 26, at highways 280 and 85 in Cupertino, for misdemeanor DUI. Bail set at $10,000.
Child Abuse

  • Nina Rios, 32, of Cupertino, 5:25 p.m. May 26, at 22510 Stevens Creek and Foothill boulevards in Cupertino, for felony corporal punishment/injury of child.

Domestic Violence

  • Angela Bledsoe, 37, of Cupertino, 5:40 p.m. May 27, at 18850 Wunderlich in Cupertino, for felony inflicting corporal injury on spouse/cohabitant. Bail set at $25,000.

Under the Influence

  • Charles Merslich, 63, of San Jose, 7 p.m. May 27, at 20525 De Anza Blvd. in Cupertino, for misdemeanor being under the influence of alcohol/drugs/controlled substance. Bail set at $250.
