Cupertino Sheriff's Blotter, May 9-14: Man Arrested Twice For Being Under the Influence

A look at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's arrests for Cupertino for the period of May 9-14, 2013. The following arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

Possession

  • Shane Robertson, 38, no city of origin given, 3:40 p.m. May 9, at Stevens Creek Boulevard and Saich Way in Cupertino, for an infraction related to unlawful possession of marijuana.

Under the Influence

  • Jeffrey Brainard, 59, of Cupertino, 11:50 a.m. May 12, at San Fermando and Delmas avenues in San Jose, for misdemeanor being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or controlled substance. Bail set at $250.
  • Jeffrey Brainard, 59, of Cupertino, 11:30 a.m. May 14, at Loree and Stern avenues in Cupertino, for misdemeanor being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or controlled substance. Bail set at $250.

Battery

  • Elaine Edberg, 18, of Cupertino, 6 p.m. May 13, at 10200 Miller Road in Cupertino, for misdemanor battery on former spouse, fiance or cohabitant. Bail set at $10,000.
  • Myron Fung, 19, of San Jose, 4:50 p.m. May 13, at Miller Avenue and Greenwood Drive in Cupertino, for misdemeanor battery on former spouse, finance or cohabitant and misdemeanor violation of court order to prevent domestic violence. Bail set at $15,000.

DUI

  • Darlene Browne, 47, of San Jose, 7:10 p.m. May 13, at Rainbow Drive and De Anza Boulevard in Cupertino, for DUI. Bail set at $5,000.

Vandalism

  • Alexi Martin, 26, of Cupertino, 1:02 a.m. May 13, at Mary Avenue and Lubec Street in Cupertino, for misdemeanor vandalism of between $5,000 and $50,000, driving with privileges suspended or revoked and two infractions for failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility of vehicle and improper license plate.

Vehicle Code Violation

  • Luis Sandoval, 24, of Modesto, 12:37 a.m. May 3 at De Anza Boulevard and Homestead Road in Cupertino, for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
  • Douglas Roisen, 48, of Sunnyvale, 5 p.m. May 14, at Homestead Road and Franco Court in Cupertino, for misdemeanor suspended license and two infractions for having an expired registration and failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility of vehicle. Bail set at $20,000.

Contribute to Delinquency of Minor

  • Johnnie Vegas, 34, of Cupertino, 4:10 a.m. March 31, at 20721 Garden Place Court in Cupertino, for misdemeanot contribute to the delinquency of a minor.
