Police Looking for Man Who Exposed Self to Girl Running Lemonade Stand

Los Altos police ask residents to watch for suspect who drove black Ford F-Series truck.

Police are asking for help in finding the driver of a black Ford F-Series-type truck who reportedly exposed himself to a 13-year-old girl at her lemonade stand in south Los Altos.

The man, described as 35-40 years old with spiked hair, had driven up in the truck around 11:20 a.m. Monday and engaged the girl in general conversation at Richardson Avenue and Grant Road. Then he exposed himself and fled down Grant Road toward Foothill Expressway, according to police.

Police released sketches of the man and the vehicle, along with a view of the distinctive rear tailgate. The tailgate was described by the victim as having a gray or chrome-colored, crescent-shaped decoration on the back, perhaps decals or a painted design.

"We really hope that this will be enough to spark someone to call us," said Sgt. Scott McCrossin.

"It was very obvious he exposed himself on purpose to this juvenile," McCrossin said. "It's just disturbing to have people like that running around the  neighborhoods like that."
