Susan Longdon suffered blunt force trauma to her head, but sheriff’s investigators are waiting the outcome of the medical examiner’s testing before ruling out any other circumstances, according to sheriff’s spokesman, Sgt. Jose Cardoza.

Gary Longdon died from an apparent gunshot wound to his head.
