Two Bodies Found Mid-Afternoon

Santa Clara Sheriff's Department finds man and woman dead in a Cupertino home.

A quiet afternoon in Cupertino was quickly changed for some residents when Santa Clara County sheriff's deputies arrived at Westacres Drive near McClellan Road on a report of a "suspicious circumstance."

At about 2:36 p.m. April 9, deputies found two people—a man and a woman in their early 50s—both dead, at the home between Cheryl and Shelly drives.

Their identities have not been released pending notification of the family by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiners Office.

The incident is being investigated by the sheriff’s detectives.
