Update: I-280 Lanes Reopened After Crash in Cupertino

All southbound lanes of Interstate 280 are closed near De Anza Boulevard

Update, 9 a.m.-- All lanes on southbound Interstate Highway 280 in Cupertino were reopened to traffic at 2:41 a.m. Saturday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

1 a.m.-- A two-car crash on southbound Interstate Highway 280 in Cupertino
has closed all lanes this morning, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

The crash was reported at about 12:20 a.m. on southbound I-280, just underneath the overpass at De Anza Boulevard, Officer Ralph Caggiano said.

One car overturned, and a second car crashed into that car, according to Caggiano.

A Sig-alert was issued at 12:35 a.m. when the CHP closed all southbound lanes, he said.

It is unknown if anyone was injured in the crash, Caggiano said.
