U.S. Bank Offers $25k Reward For Information on Serial Robber

Man who robbed Cupertino bank in October is believed to be the same man involved in 7 other Bay Area robberies.

Police believe the same man who robbed three local banks in October—including the U.S. Bank on Stevens Creek Boulevard—is the same man who robbed U.S. Banks in Elk Grove, Davis and Redwood City in December.

Police are still investigating a at the in downtown Davis. Detectives now believe the robbery was part of a series spanning from the San Francisco Bay Area to the Sacramento Valley.

U.S. Bank has offered up to a $25,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect, who is believed to have robbed the following branches:

The FBI, the Davis Police Department, and other local jurisdictions are in the process of investigating these robberies. In each case, the suspect presented a note but did not display any actual weapons.

"We are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect," said Lt. Paul Doroshov. "Keep in mind that hair styles and facial hair can be easily altered."
