The Santa Clara County Sheriff's dive teams spent the week searching for signs of missing Morgan Hill teen but were unable to get to two of the reservoirs they planned on searching, according to Sgt. Jose Cardoza of the Sheriff's Office.
They will resume searches at these two bodies of water early in the week of May 7.
"In the beginning of the week, the teams searched Parkway Lakes, Anderson and Coyote reservoirs," Cardoza said. "They were unable to get to Almaden and Guadalupe reservoirs, so they'll be resuming with them early next week."
Cardoza said that divers were deployed after side scan sonar picked up "areas of concern" in the three waterways that were searched, but nothing related to LaMar's disappearance was discovered.
After waterway searches are completed next week, Cardoza said investigators will reconvene and determine how to proceed with searches, including deciding where to search next.
LaMar, 15, has been missing since March 16 and . Her family is offering to the first person with information that leads to her safe return.
