The Santa Clara County Superior Court has issued a warrant for the arrest of a San Jose real estate agent, wanted for scamming multiple victims out of more than half a million dollars.

Amalek Elyassnia of San Jose was charged with ten counts of grand theft by the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office on April 22, 2013.

Elyassnia allegedly convinced multiple victims to invest in the construction of a medical office building in Modesto.

No such project, however, existed.

If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Elyassnia, please contact District Attorney Investigator John Carrillo at (408) 792-2977.
