Two seats for City Council are up for grabs in November and our poll shows Rod Sinks and Donna Austin are the favorites among Patch readers.

Rod Sinks, one of six candidates for City Council, took an early lead in our Cupertino Patch poll and he hasn't relinquished it since the poll began Sept. 29.

Weigh in and vote! The poll is located at the bottom of the article, Rotary Hosts Council Candidate Forum.

  1. Rod Sinks: 43 percent
  2. Donna Austin: 25 percent
  3. Chris Zhang: 20 percent
  4. Homer Tong: 6 percent
  5. Gilbert Wong: 2 percent
  6. Marty Miller: 0 percent (1 vote)

Voters in November's election will get to choose two candidates as incumbent and current Mayor Wong's term is up at the end of the year. The way this poll stands Wong would be out and Sinks and Austin in.
