Senator Simitian Town Hall is Tuesday Night in Los Altos, Wednesday in Cupertino

State Senator Joe Simitian will field questions in back-to-back Town Hall meetings.

Got a question about a state government topic? Need help with a particular issue? Or an idea about how to make life just a little better for California residents? State Senator Joe Simitian wants to speak with you.

Simitian , in the Los Altos City Council Chambers, 1 N. San Antonio Rd., and on Wed. Oct. 19, at , 10350 Torre Ave. from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

“Elected officials need to stay in touch with their constituents on a regular basis,” said Simitian in a press release.  “I want to keep folks up to date with what I'm working on, and even more important, to hear from them. A Town Hall meeting is participatory democracy in its purest form.”

All topics will be open for discussion during the , and Simitian anticipates a wide variety of issues to be brought up, according to the press release.

“In challenging times like these,” Simitian said, “it’s particularly important to stay in touch.”
