Teens Get Free Drinks at La Cueva Mexican Restaurant in Saratoga

Perk for local youth from March 18 through May 18, with purchase of meal.

Thirsty teens can head to neighboring Saratoga for a free drink thanks to an award given to a teen-friendly restaurant.

The Saratoga Youth Commission selected La Cueva Mexican Restaurant, 18486 Prospect Rd., as this year’s recipient of the Teen Friendly Business Award.

The restaurant agreed to offer teenagers a free drink with the purchase of a meal from 3-7 p.m. from March 18-May 18.

In its third year, previous winners of the Teen Friendly Business Award are The Bell Tower Bistro and Yolatea.

To be eligible for the award, businesses must be based in Saratoga and provide a temporary discount to teens, said Saratoga Youth Commission staff advisor Adam Henig.

Saratoga Mayor Jill Hunter will present the award to La Cueva at 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 22.

The public is welcome to attend the ceremony at La Cueva, inside the See’s Candies shopping center.
