Varsha Prabhakar and Weian Wang on Youth Task Force

A new Youth Task Force advisory committee to the county was recently sworn in.

At a ceremony in San Jose 16 high school students from across the county, including one from Cupertino High and one from Lynbrook High, were sworn in as representatives to the Santa Clara County Youth Task
Force
 on Jan. 13.

The teens will represent each of the five supervisorial districts promoting youth activism and trying to effect positive change in schools and communities.

The Youth Task Force serves as an official advisory board to County Board of Supervisors and other policymakers and decision-makers in the county through regular meetings and written reports and recommendations.
