Cupertino Union School Admin Office to Close
The school district office on Vista Drive in Cupertino is moving to a new location in Sunnyvale over the spring break.
The Cupertino Union School Administrative Office on Vista Drive will temporarily close Friday, April 12, while work starts to move the office to a new location in Sunnyvale.
In a written statement, Communications Director Jeremy Nishihara said the closure is timed to coincide with spring break week when activity at the office will be minimal. The office is moving to a new location at 1309 S. Mary Ave., Sunnyvale. It will open for business at 8 a.m. Monday, April 22.

Departments currently at the Cupertino address include Maintenance/Grounds, Operations, Security, Transportation, Bus Yard, Garage, Warehouse, Mail Room, Purchasing, Receiving, Student Nutrition, Facility Modernization, IT Department, Property Office, and Energy Management. The district’s Operations Center will remain there.
The District’s mailing address also will remain the same: 10301 Vista Drive, Cupertino, Calif., 95014.

Departments already at the Sunnyvale location include the Superintendent’s Office, Business Services, Duplicating Services, Human Resources and Payroll, Instruction Department, Special Education, and Student Assignment.
This move is the first phase of a plan to accommodate the growing enrollment of middle school students in the district by growing the Lawson Middle School campus starting the summer of 2013.
