Watch for excited children who are distracted; obey school zone speed limits.
Thousands of children are heading back to school Monday morning in Cupertino Union School District. It’s the official start of the school year for all schools except Murdock-Portal Elementary, which began last week.
‘School Zone’ speed limits are back in effect, so pay extra attention to signs.
The district also runs 34 daily bus routes. Do not pass buses that are picking up children or letting them off.
