Verizon Wireless Apple iPhone 4S Workshop

The recent landing of the Mars Rover Curiosity has been a celebration for the world of technology, and for years Verizon Wireless has been praised by industry leaders for its reliability and speed. Surprisingly, smartphones and the Curiosity are powered by the same technology.

Curiosity’s purpose is to document Mars through picture and video. With the smartphone revolution upon us, we can now capture the same photos and videos of our own lives to share. While NASA can conquer a planet, Verizon Wireless promises it’s much simpler to conquer your smartphone.

Thanks to Verizon Wireless’ free workshops, Cupertino residents will gain the knowledge that guides your smartphone to a successful landing in your life.

These workshops have helped customers nationwide understand the functions of their devices from staying organized to entertainment including face-time, text
messaging, using email, scanning a paycheck for direct deposit or even  how to create and share high-quality photos and videos on Android, which are essential tools for understanding how to document life on Earth.

Verizon Wireless’ online and in-store workshops are continually updated to feature the latest smartphones and devices including the Samsung Galaxy S III.

Throughout August join Verizon Wireless at its Stevens Creek Boulevard location to learn the ins and outs the iPhone 4S, or sign up for an online workshop from the comfort of your home.

It's difficult to know what's going on in a kid's mind unless they feel confident enough to open upRead More and talk. And this program helps us adults to learn to listen differently.

I too was at this Challenge Day. It was my 6th. I first volunteered because I watched the programRead More on MTV "If You Really Knew Me" when my son was being severely bullied in middle school and saw the program was offered when he was a freshman in high school. My company strongly supports me volunteering for this and allows me to take the day off work to attend. I am continually humbled by what these teens share and saddened at what some of them have experienced in their short lives. This program is so valuable. I think every school should offer it and every parent should attend. It helps us to realize that we need to think twice before we judge or assume things about others when we know nothing about them. It is the volunteering opportunity that I look forward to participating in every year.
