Marina Food to Donate Portion of Wednesday's Sales to CEEF

Shop at Marina Food on Jan. 18 and 4 percent of the day's sales will support Cupertino students.

Shop at on Wednesday and support Cupertino’s schools in one fell swoop. From 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Jan. 18 Marina Food will donate four percent of all sales to Cupertino Education Endowment Fund (CEEF).

Part of CEEF’s Great Schools Grocery Day program the funds from Wednesday’s donation will support students in Cupertino Union School District.

There’s no need to bring in a flyer and sales from the restaurant section count, too.

To-date more than $25,000 has been raised through the Great Schools Grocery Day program for the more than 18,000 CUSD students.

CEEF, established in 1984, works with CUSD and the community to provide private funding to maintain quality education and enrichment programs in such areas as music, art, math, science and technology.

Marina Food is a full-service grocery store specializing in Asian foods and has an in-store Asian bakery and deli.

This is great. Thanks Marina. I hope other Cupertino companies such as Apple will take up the entrepreneurial spirit to invest some of their wealth in the future of our youth. Both school districts will soon encounter consequential financial shortfalls due to the State deficit and catastrophic budget cuts making California schools almost the lowest funded schools in the nation.
