Monday, April 8 is the first day of classes for the spring quarter at De Anza College in Cupertino.

Although college officials have been preparing for opening day for several weeks, with the sudden arrival of thousands of students – many of them new – there is bound to be confusion for some students  over parking, class schedules, transportation and other issues.

A first stop for students looking for help should be the college website at www.deanza.edu where updated maps, information about added classes and registration details are posted. The website even offers visitors a virtual tour of the campus.

In addition, the college maintains a Facebook page where students can post comments, and questions, and share photos and links. Updated information about textbook buybacks and rental deadlines is also posted there.
