The San Francisco 49ers are warning their fans to be wary of fake tickets circulating for Saturday’s NFC Divisional Playoff matchup with the Green Bay Packers at Candlestick Park.
The playoff game is sold out and fans are reminded that the only way to guarantee authenticity of the tickets is to purchase tickets through reputable vendors such as the NFL Ticket Exchange, the only ticket re-sale site officially supported by the San Francisco 49ers and the NFL.
Fans are urged to beware purchasing tickets from anyone selling them on the street or in front of the venue.Likewise, fans should be cautious when purchasing tickets online from unsecured Internet vendors.
Additionally, fans are advised to avoid using cash. Before purchasing a ticket, fans should also verify the seats on a seating chart.
