County Parks Challenge You to Take a Hike

Are you ready to hit the trails? It's easy, with plenty to choose from in Santa Clara County.

Gyms can be boring. So what better time to exercise outdoors while the weather stays warm and dry? The Santa Clara County Parks Department is offering its second annual Healthy Trails Challenge.

Changing up your routine every few months is a good idea, and this is a great way to do it. There are different types of trails depending on if you decide to walk, hike, bike or bring a companion in a wheelchair or stroller.

For Santa Clara County Parks, the challenge is to pick five out of 22 featured trails, visit them, then write and turn in an evaluation.

To register for Healthy Trails Challenge, see the website. You'll get a guidebook on where to go.

Once you complete the challenge and send in your evaluation, a bonus gift will be on its way to you!
