Each year, in communities across the country, dynamic, passionate candidates engage in a spirited 10-week fundraising competition to earn The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Man & Woman of the Year titles, by raising funds for blood cancer research. The candidates compete in honor of children who are local blood cancer survivors, the Boy & Girl of the Year. Having been honored this year with the nomination for Man of the Year, Roger Royse is striving to raise an unprecedented amount of money to help find a cure for blood cancer. With the support of his campaign team, "Motion to Dismiss Cancer" and with the generosity of individuals like you, this goal is achievable.. A The Leukemia Lymphoma Motion motion to dismiss cancer team and the San Jose Fairmont have organized a two hour Zumba exercise class to raise money for LLS. It will be held at the Circle of Palms Plaza, San Jose, California.
Our honorary Emcee will be Hollywood Dentist Dr. Bill Dorfman. He has been featured on Oprah and ABC'S Extreme makeover.
KISS 98.1 Fm will be on site supporting our efforts. 100% of proceeds go to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Zumba is a cardio-vascular workout routine performed to Latin rythyms in health clubs throughout the World.
Pre-requisites to Zumba wear comfortable workout attire and footwear. But most importantly just bring yourself and a whole bunch of energy. and get ready to move your body to Slasa, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggeaton, Mamabo Cha-Cha, Hip-Hop and even Belly Dancing. The 2 hour dance party is sure to leave you smiling, thirsty, and hungry. Water and energy bars will be provided. Zumba is for everybody, this event is for the enitre family - all ages are welcome.
