Cupertino Weekend: Free Shakespeare in the Park, Flea Market, EWaste Disposal

The weekend of Aug. 3-4 offers you a chance to clear the clutter, gather new treasures, and soak in free culture.

Saturday

 

Flea Market, De Anza College, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Find bargains and hidden treasures spread out over Campus Parking Lots A and B. (Every Saturday Thru Oct. 2)

Free eWaste Collection, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. HOPE Services will collect eWaste at Whole Foods Market, 20955 Stevens Creek Blvd. 

Free Shakespeare in the Park - 7:30 to 9:10 p.m. The San Francisco Shakespeare Festival returns to Memorial Park Amphitheater in Cupertino and celebrates its 31st season with Macbeth, directed by Kenneth Kelleher. Generally regarded as one of the Bard’s major tragedies (along with Hamlet, Othello, and King Lear), this is the first time SF Shakes has produced it for Free Shakespeare in the Park. The 100-minute play is for its suspenseful plot and thrilling scenes of witchcraft and swordplay.
