Thanksgiving at Sunday Friends

The Thanksgiving tradition at Sunday Friends is a special time of year. Our families come together as one large family to express gratitude and give back to the community. For Thanksgiving this year, our families made gifts for others in the community: pine cone ornaments, fall wreaths, pine cone turkeys, thanksgiving napkin holders, and thanksgiving chains.

We were also very happy to welcome back Martin, who taught a second session that focused on "Strategies for Helping Children with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Tendencies". His presentation helped educate families on how to help children with behavioural problems. Our families learned how to help children focus better, stay on track and calm and composed during trying situations.
