The free summer concert series on Thursday night heads into its third week, so get your Motown on. And, we've got more!


Ah. How's a little Motown and R&B to make summertime livin' easy?

Cupertino Recreation kicks off your weekend with West Grand Boulevard, the third band in its free Summer Concert Series. Boomers, Cupertino's got you covered. If you like Stevie Wonder, the Temptations, Otis Redding and Aretha Franklin, to name a few artists, this is for you.

Thursday - Aloft Alive. Check out the live music at Cupertino's newest hip hotel, Aloft. DJ on Thursday, Blues on Friday and World Music on Saturday.

Friday - TGIF Open Studio at Wilson Park Ceramics Studio. Cupertino Parks and Rec supplies the clay, silk, jewelry supplies, mosaics and an instructor to assist. Get creative and bring $7 and some more for materials costs and unwind by using another part of your brain. 10185 N. SaturdayChabot to Go Interactive, Astronomy Program, 3 p.m.. Interested in astronomy?
