This family eatery redefines one's perception of Japanese cuisine. The menu consists of soups, salads and curries, noodles and desserts, kids plates and larger servings. The focal point is the curry, made out of 30 different spices, oils, peanuts and apple paste, as well as variety of vegetables cooked until they form a delicious sauce for the beef, chicken, seafood or tofu pieces simmering in it. MSG is used as a taste enhancer. With eleven restaurants in California, this is the only one in the Bay Area and is located at the Civic Park.
