Crystal Tai was born in Taiwan and immigrated to California with her family as a teenager. She holds a Master's degree in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership Studies with a minor in Journalism from Stanford University. She has worked for the Silicon Valley Community Newspaper as a reporter covering Cupertino. Equally fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, she has hosted countless community events in the two languages as master of ceremonies. now i wonder about hiring you to translate one of my blogs into Mandarin. How would it be better than if I merely use a search engine-translater?

I did not mean to challenge you by the previous post.

Are you trying to sandbag Kris Wang by alienating her from people who don't speak Mandarin?
I played your video hoping to hear some fresh perspectives -- I respect Simitian but wonder what else is out there -- but left frustrated.
Also: did you meet the Washington Post China correspondent that was a Knight Fellow recently at Stanford? I think her name is Fan.
Also, did you know that Jim Yardley who won Pulitzer Prize for covering China for NYT was once a Gunn High student - -when his mom was a Knight Fellow at Stanford?
