An Earthquake Shook Up the Lunch Hour in the South Bay

The temblor registered 3.4 on the Richter Scale. Did you feel it? Tell us in the comments.


The United States Geological Survey is reporting a preliminary 3.4 earthquake, which hit the East Hills in San Jose at approximately 12:02 p.m.

The temblor was located along the Calaveras Fault, about 9 miles from San Jose, according to the USGS website.

There were 11 responses recorded from Cupertino on the USGS's "Did You Feel It?" Response survey.
